If you’ve driven south on MLK during the last year, then you’ve seen a huge building going up on the campus of Lamar Institute of Technology.    

This cutting-edge Workforce and Allied Health Training Center is designed to equip students with the skills and hands-on experience they need for high-demand careers in healthcare and skilled trades. 

From state-of-the-art labs to expert instructors, the center is setting a new standard in workforce development for the region. 

In this episode of The Beaumont Beat, we sit down with the President of LIT, Dr. Sidney Valentine.
